Natural Gas is piped through a network of underground pipelines and delivered directly to your home or business. The Maritimes Northeast Pipeline, which delivers natural gas to the Bangor Gas Company’s distribution system, is connected to the United States nationwide delivery system of 2.2 million miles of underground pipeline. It’s always on; there are no storage tanks, no fumes, no spills, no damaged driveway or shrubs and no waiting for delivery trucks.
