Cost of Gas Adjustment Filing
The CGA filing will contain four sections:
1. Estimated cost of the gas for the upcoming period, as outlined in Section 5 below.
This section will contain work papers supporting the estimate.
2. An accounting of the Gas Cost Balancing Account, defined below, and the estimated over or under collected amount at the start of the next true-up period, as outlined in Section 6 below.
3. A throughput estimate for the upcoming period by rate class.
4. A calculation of the rate components: The Energy Charge and the Past Cost Adjustment, as described in their sections.
Because of the competitive nature of the information contained in this filing it will be submitted to the MPUC under a Protective Order. Under the terms of the Protective Order, the Company shall provide a copy of the filings to the Public Advocate. A redacted version of the filing will be made available for any Customer who requests it.
